Meet the Life Lessons Over Lunch Staff
Doug comes to us from Jacksonville, FL where Doug had been on staff at Access Church (a strategic partner of North Point) in Jacksonville, Florida (part-time) since October 2010. Full-time, Doug worked in the business marketplace managing multiple sales teams. Now, in this role, Doug gets to combine the best of both worlds – ministry and the marketplace!
As the LLOL Director, Doug will recruit, develop, and equip LLOL Leaders. He’ll make sure the right people are placed in the right leadership roles, and he’ll ensure that leaders are equipped to introduce biblical principles into the workplace; but do it in a non-threatening, compliant, and engaging manner – all with the ultimate goal of leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Doug and his wife, Janie, love Jesus and are eager to lead in this area of North Point: “I have always had a passion for helping, encouraging, and developing leaders, both in ministry and also in the corporate world. That I can now merge those two passions together in one effort is a dream come true,” Doug said.
Doug and his wife, Janie, have three children, Annabelle, Vivian, and Beau.
Caity grew up in Oklahoma, Texas, and Florida. She attended Florida State University and moved to Atlanta in the spring of 2012. She has a background in early childhood development and spent the last five years teaching preschool.
Her co-workers invited her to North Point Community Church and the rest is, as they say, history. Through NPCC, Caity has had the opportunity to volunteer and work closely with students across grade levels. She is passionate about investing in her community and is beyond thrilled to join the Life Lessons team as Marketing Coordinator.
Caity and her husband, Joe, are newlyweds living and serving in Alpharetta, GA. Their dog, Buddy, is truly the third member of their young family. They love to spend time with extended family and soak up all the outdoor activities Georgia has to offer.
Maggie grew up in California and Michigan, and attended the University of Illinois to become a high school mathematics teacher. She moved to McDonough, Georgia and taught high school math and technology for seven years before pursuing full-time ministry. She spent two years as a worship and video producer at a church in Atlanta, and is thrilled to be joining the Life Lessons Over Lunch team at North Point!
As someone who came to Christ in the workplace herself, Maggie is most excited to support and encourage leaders who are creating safe environments for the unchurched, just as her mentor did for her.
Lastly, Maggie loves being a Re:new mentor, serving on the Production team, and leading a small group at North Point’s Buckhead campus. She enjoys going to concerts, trying new restaurants, and the occasional Netflix marathon with her cat, Sissy.
